What is the NDIS Independent Expert Review?

Do you have an NDIS matter before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT)? Have you been invited to take part in an Independent Expert Review (IER)?

The National Disability Insurance Agency has introduced the IER program to provide better and earlier outcomes for NDIS participants who have lodged an application with the AAT.

Join this free online event to find out about the IER program and the free advocacy and legal support available.

You will hear from two speakers:

  • Sam De Lyall is a disability advocate at Disability Advocacy NSW who can provide non-legal information and practical support to people invited to take part in the IER program.
  • Nakul Bhagwat is a lawyer at the NDIS Independent Expert Review Advice Service, a free national service that gives independent legal advice and support to people with disability and their families and carers participating in the IER program.

This free online event will be hosted on Zoom and live streamed to Your Story Disability Legal Support’s Facebook page.
