Disability Royal Commission Public Hearing No.12: COVID-19 vaccine rollout (17 May 2021)

The Disability Royal Commission starts its public hearing today about the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.  It starts at 10am (AEST), Monday 17 May 2021 

The hearing in Sydney will be closed to the public but will be live streamed on the Royal Commission website.

The hearing will examine the approach of the Australian government and its agencies to the vaccination of people with a disability and disability support workers. The hearing will focus in particular on the vaccination program, noting the reports of extremely low rates of vaccination for people with disability and disability support workforce and the lack of information about the implementation of the rollout.
