Government announcement to introduce legislation to amend Royal Commissions Act

On 20th October 2020 the Morrison Government announced their commitment to introducing amendments to the Royal Commissions Act 1902 (Cth) to increase protections for information provided to Royal Commissions.

"I have instructed my department to work swiftly on the amendments, with the aim of introducing in the Autumn sittings of 2021,"
