It will deliver its final report to government by 29 September 2023 when it will make recommendations on how to improve laws, policies, structures and practices to ensure a more inclusive and just society.

Free legal support for people with disability and their supporters in 2023

A Your Story lawyer can answer questions about your submission or private session request and provide advice and support.

We can also support you with other legal problems you might be dealing with, such as the NDIS, discrimination or family violence, and connect you with other support services, including free counselling.

If we can’t help you solve your legal or non-legal problem, we can connect you with someone who can.

Your Story’s legal support is free, confidential and available to anyone who needs it, including people with disability as well as their family members, friends, carers, advocates, and supporters.
